Lawrence Fischer's profile

SWS Culture | Lockheed Martin Corporation

Strategic Weapons Systems Culture, or SWS Culture, is an organizational belief system at Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic in Kings Bay, Georgia and Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific at Silverdale, Washington. The success of these programs is directly contributed to the culture that emphasizes six imperatives: Formality, Integrity, Forceful Backup, Level of Knowledge, Procedural Compliance and Questioning Attitude.

These posters are part of a campaign designed to reinforce the cultural values that govern the partnership between the U.S. Government, the Navy and contractors at the Strategic Weapons Facilities.
I always start the design process on paper with very rough sketches to just capture the general layout and arrangement of elements. These sketches usually start during the first requirements meeting with the client as I am getting project requirements, asking questions and taking notes. The sketches are then refined and revised as the concept develops. Eventually, the sketches are transferred to the computer and developed into low and high fidelity design comps for client review and approval.
The design and production of these posters was a collaborative team process with colleagues at the both King's Bay and Silverdale TCOE offices.
